The VIC-gridMET hydrologic dataset covers the Northwest US at a 6-7-km spatial resolution from 1979-present. This dataset is produced by running the Variable Infiltration Capacity (VIC) hydrology model with climate forcings from gridMET to produce hydrology outputs such as snow water equivalent(SWE), soil moisture and runoff. While these data can capture local variability in hydrology, they are unable to resolve microclimate variations that may be present at finer scales (e.g., within a farm). Data are updated daily.
